Our team name is Aicardi awareness/Team Piper and we will be selling tee shirts once again. This year we have a new shirt color with the same logo. Justin designed this logo last year by taking all of the words used most frequently on our blog and putting them in a word cloud. When I had no energy left at the end of the race I kept looking down at my shirt for inspiration!

Once again, half of the tee shirt proceeds will go to the Aicardi Syndrome foundation and the other half to help with medical bills and equipment for Piper. Here are prices and sizes for the blue shirts.

On April 1, 2012 we ran the Knoxville half marathon for Piper. We created Team Piper to raise awareness for Aicardi syndrome and raised money for the Aicardi foundation and Piper's medical bills. It started out small and we wanted to make a shirt for our family and friends who participated in the race. We ended up selling nearly 300 tee shirts and have decided to continue doing events for Team Piper. We are still selling tee shirts and will continue to raise money and awareness.
